Finding coffee that's right for you.
- Find new flavor pairings. Your taste is curious and seeking. Be on the look out for new flavors and be willing to risk it to try and find a diamond in the rough. Try mint or lavender for a refreshing addition to coffee. Pair your iced coffee with a hearty steak or shrimp at dinner. Be brave in your pursuit of decaffeinated greatness.
- Brew with reckless abandon. There are so many ways to brew coffee now it becomes a new mission every time you step in the kitchen. You may already own various brewing machines or vessels and the fun never ends. You get the power to choose your own adventure each time to step into the kitchen. Will it be easy and quick with the coffee machine or slow and nearly painstaking with our drip glass. Find ways you love, perfect them, and try new ways as well. Plus, your experience will make for a great host for friends and family later on.
- Medium-Dark, small-batch roasts. Shop for medium and dark roasts that are roasted in small, intentional batches. One of the secrets of the coffee industry is that huge vats of beans are roasted together and then kept on shelves in bags for months on end before it reaches your coffee maker. Clean, well-roasted coffee should stay fresh for a few months, but keep an eye on that roast date. Coffee beans that are roasted to a medium and dark level can get acidic and sometimes even oily after a while. As always, once you open a bag of your small-batch dark roast coffee, tie the bag by pressing out all of the air or store in an air tight container, only use the grounds you need right in that moment.
